I am a Chardonnay with a unique story, crafted from the world's most widely planted white grape variety, which has discovered its ideal territory at Recas. The climate, clay-limestone soils, and south-facing slopes of the region provide the perfect conditions for me to develop into the complex wine I am today.
To create me, winemakers Nora and Hartley carefully selected young vines from the newly planted area at Izvin and blended them with grapes from the La Stejari and Ferma Veche vineyards. For added body and aromatic complexity, approximately 50% of my composition is aged in oak barrels for six months, using barriques that previously held one or two wines.
